Two Octogenarian Biohackers Launch a New Era of Rejuvenation
The KHL Foundation, founded by Kenneth Scott (b. 1942) and Helga Sands (b. 1938), is dedicated to making proven rejuvenation therapies available now for people over 60 who refuse to age on schedule.
We are living proof that advanced age can be a starting line, not a finish line — combining the insouciance of youth with the wisdom of experience, and sharing what works with the world.
About the KHL Foundation
The KHL Foundation is a Panamanian legal entity created to promote and provide access to scientifically grounded rejuvenation therapies for humans, especially those over 60, regardless of regulatory delay in any particular country.
Unlike most organizations in the longevity space, KHL is led by founders who are actively undergoing the therapies they support. We focus on real-world outcomes, personal data, and practical delivery through trusted clinical partners.
What Makes Us Different
Founded and led by two octogenarian biohackers living the therapies they advocate.
Focused on therapies available now — not just future promises
Willing to operate across borders and systems to enable access.
Guided by scientific rigor, lived experience, and ethical responsibility.
Our Focus Declarations
Therapies for humans
Rejuvenation science belongs to everyone — not just institutions, regulators, or future generations.
Therapies for Rejuvenation
Our work focuses on restoring function, vitality, and youthfulness through proven biological pathways.
Therapies Now
We bring forward what is safe, grounded, and available today — not ten years from now.
Therapies
We Live
Every therapy we support is one we personally experience, evaluate, and stand behind as healthy octogenarians.
Meet the Founders
Co-Founder
Kenneth Scott
A scientist, entrepreneur, and one of the world’s oldest biohackers, draws on six decades of cross-industry experience and his own rejuvenation journey to help others do the same.
Meet The Co-Founder
Kenneth Scott
Entrepreneur, Scientist, Rejuvenation Pioneer — Living with the Insouciance of Youth.
Kenneth Scott (born 1942) is an entrepreneur, scientist, and longevity pioneer whose life bridges six decades of innovation — from aerospace engineering and economics to high-tech entrepreneurship and regenerative medicine.
After early work as an aeronautical engineer with the Royal Canadian Air Force and later as a labor economist for the Canadian government, Kenneth co-founded a technology company that delivered advanced software solutions to global brands including PepsiCo and Coca-Cola, and later served as CFO for a dot-com innovator that prefigured platforms like YouTube. He went on to develop a successful real estate portfolio, demonstrating a lifelong capacity to build, adapt, and thrive.
In recent years, Kenneth has become one of the world’s oldest active biohackers, personally experiencing cutting-edge therapies including follistatin gene therapy, Khavinson peptides, exosomes, and VSEL stem-cell rejuvenation. His significant improvements in biological age, muscle, function, and cardiometabolic health have made him a sought-after speaker and advisor in the longevity movement.
Kenneth’s worldview is shaped not only by scientific promise, but by a lifetime of witnessing environmental and societal degradation. In a recent interview in Madrid, he spoke candidly about the “chemical pollution” and ecosystem damage he has observed across decades, arguing that human rejuvenation must be understood in concert with planetary rejuvenation — because both systems are breaking down under the same pressures.
And yet, despite that sober realism, Kenneth lives with extraordinary vitality.
In his eighth decade, he has returned to the insouciance of youth — moving through the world with curiosity, boldness, delight, and a willingness to challenge convention:
“At this stage of life, you don’t carry the weight of approval anymore. You’re free — to experiment, explore, and enjoy being fully alive.”
As co-founder of the KHL Foundation, Kenneth is dedicated to making effective rejuvenation therapies available now, for people who still have decades of life to claim — and who refuse to age according to schedule.
Co-Founder
Helga Sands
Investor, longevity expert, and pioneering former finance executive, Helga blends analytical rigor with a deep commitment to advancing rejuvenation science. Now in her ninth decade, she continues to study, experiment, and champion longevity with fearless joy.
Meet The Co-Founder
Helga Sands
Longevity Expert • Scientific Insider • Investor & Philanthropist • Biohacker • Naturalist
Helga Sands (born 1938, Germany) is one of the most respected and enduring figures in the global longevity movement. For more than 25 years, she has immersed herself in the science of aging, becoming a recognized authority on supplements, metabolic optimization, rejuvenation therapies, and the practical application of emerging research.
Before entering the longevity space, Helga built a distinguished career in international finance. She held influential positions in the financial markets at NatWest and Paine Webber, and became the first female director at Nomura, breaking barriers in an era when senior roles for women in global finance were exceedingly rare. Her analytical rigor, quantitative skill, and strategic insight became hallmarks of her professional identity — qualities that later translated naturally into her scientific work.
Her longevity expertise is grounded in decades of disciplined study, extensive self-experimentation, and direct engagement with the research community. Helga is known for her rigorous evaluation of new therapies and for personally validating any intervention she considers promising. Her intellectual clarity and lived experience have made her a trusted advisor to leading researchers, biotech founders, and clinicians, many of whom rely on her unique combination of scientific understanding and practical insight.
As both an early-stage biotech investor and a philanthropic supporter of research, Helga has helped advance pioneering work in age reversal, gene therapy, and regenerative medicine. She has also supported cultural and scientific institutions, reflecting her belief that longevity must enrich both the body and the human spirit.
Now in her ninth decade, Helga is a vibrant, intellectually fierce, and joyful octogenarian, admired for the insouciance of youth that defines her presence — a fearless curiosity, a freedom from convention, and an embrace of possibility. She stands as a compelling example of what active, engaged longevity can look like.
Her life beyond science is equally remarkable. In London, she is known as a devoted protector of peregrine falcons and other birds of prey, responding at any hour to rescue injured birds and coordinate their care. She travels widely to observe orchids in the wild and brings a refined aesthetic sensibility to interior design. These pursuits reveal the multidimensional nature of her character — a woman who studies life, protects it, and seeks its beauty in many forms.
As co-founder of the KHL Foundation, Helga contributes her expertise, her credibility, her investment acumen, and her deeply engaged spirit. She is committed to ensuring that effective rejuvenation therapies become accessible now — especially for those over 60 who are ready to reclaim vitality, independence, and meaning in the years ahead.
“Longevity is not about resisting age. It is about living intelligently, joyfully, and fully — at every stage of life.”
Interview
In Their Own Words
In this recent interview from Madrid, Kenneth reflects on the global longevity ecosystem, the damage done to human health and the environment in his lifetime, and why he and Helga believe rejuvenation must be pursued now — for people who are already in their 60s, 70s, and 80s. We test therapies on ourselves. We partner with trusted clinicians. We share results openly. And we move with the insouciance of youth, because we know how precious time is.
